INTEGRATED SERVICE DELIVERY - Transforming Children's Services
Developing integrated services within a Children’s Trust
requires service transformation at every level in order to create
an infrastructure which supports fully integrated working. Every
Child Matters Change for Children provides a framework of service
transformation under the headings of Integrated Governance, Integrated
Strategy, Integrated Processes and Integrated Front-Line Delivery.
Priorities summary:
Integrated front-line delivery
23. Extend and improve the network of multi-disciplinary integrated service locations across the city (children’s centres, extended schools, specialist services etc)
Integrated processes
24. Further embed shared service improvement processes for Children’s
Trust stakeholders (e.g. CYPP, Local Area Agreement, service review and inspections
[Annual Performance Assessment, Joint Area Review] )
25. Introduce the Common Assessment Framework and the role of Lead Professional across the city by April 2008.
26. Enable children and young people to participate in service design and delivery
Integrated strategy
27. Establish and implement a Preventative Strategy and review partnership arrangements for vulnerable children and their families.
28. Produce and implement a workforce development strategy for integrated
children’s services.
29. Implement a joint ICT strategy.
Integrated governance
30. Consolidate and confirm governance arrangements for the Children’s
Trust.
