Children and young people tell us they want to feel safe at home, at school and on the street, and want bullying and racism to stop.
Our priority is to help children and young people to:

Services for disabled children
Services for Disabled Children works with children and young people from birth up to the age of 18 where the child or young person has one or more of the following:
- a substantial physical disability
- a severe communication disability
- autistic spectrum disorder
- a severe learning disability

Sunderland Carers' Centre
Link to confidential advice, information and support service to carers throughout the City of Sunderland.
A carer is someone who looks after a family member, partner, friend or neighbour who due to illness, disability, frailty or addiction is unable to manage alone.
Sunderland Anti-bullying website
It is important if a child or young person is being bullied that those closest to them are able to help and support. This site aims to enable parents in Sunderland who have concerns about a child or young person who is being bullied or has been accused of bullying others in or outside of school to gain access to information, resources and advice.
